Transnafta Starts refining crude oil in the Kuibyshev Oil Refinery in Achinsk city in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia.

Transnaftahas dispute with Belarusian gas monopoly Beltransgaz after failure to pay $23.5 million in time. Later the dispute is resolved with an agreement between the two parties allowing the immediate resumption of supplies at precrisis rates.
